Rebeca Tapia is a graphic designer who lives and works in Houston, Texas. She attended Stafford High School where she graduated top ten percent of her class knowing she would pursue a career in the arts. She would then go on to obtain two associate degrees, one in visual art and another in graphic design from Houston Community College (HCC). While working on her Associate of Visual Arts, she received Second Place in Printmaking in the Spring 2013 Juried Student Exhibition as well as Best in Show in the Spring 2013 Juried Second Level Student Art Exhibition. During her last semester at HCC, she completed an internship at The Printing Museum in July 2019. There, she got to work alongside the staff to create exhibition labels as well as many signs and forms for the public to view and use while at the museum. After graduating from HCC, she started working as a graphic design freelancer, specializing in branding and logo design, as well as editorial layout. In Spring 2021, she decided to further her education in graphic design by enrolling at the University of Houston–Clear Lake. While working as a graphic design freelancer, she was offered a position as the junior designer at a church in the Museum District of Houston, Texas. Rebeca plans to graduate in December 2022 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and an Art History minor.

When not designing, you can find her enjoying a good coffee with her family or friends, trying out a new style of painting, watching a good soccer game, or reading a good book (most likely Lord of the Rings.)
